A Recap of Arab Health 2025: A Dynamic Experience for Amparo
Arab Health 2025 proved to be a truly dynamic and impactful event for Amparo. Over four intense days, we had the privilege of connecting with healthcare professionals from over 30 countries, showcasing our innovative prosthetic solutions and engaging in insightful conversations.
A highlight of the event was our live demonstration of the Resilience Socket at the ABHI booth, where we captivated audiences with the speed and precision of our direct-fit technology. We conducted over 10 engaging demos, sparking valuable discussions and showcasing the transformative potential of our solutions.
Arab Health also marked the exciting launch of our new Pediatric Socket, a groundbreaking innovation specifically designed to meet the unique needs of growing children. This launch was further amplified by our ongoing commitment to the Restoring Hope initiative, underscoring our dedication to improving the lives of amputees worldwide.
Introducing the Amparo Pediatric Socket:
Designed with young patients in mind, the Amparo Pediatric Socket offers a range of features for optimal comfort and functionality. This pre-fabricated thermoplastic socket is reinforced with kevlar and features a built-in mounting plate. Weighing 790g off-the-shelf (final socket weight depends on residual limb size, with approximately 250g typically removed), it allows for natural movement and growth. Available in sizes from liner size 12* and up to 24, with a 6mm wall thickness required for size 12 liners, the socket offers a range of options to accommodate different needs.
The Pediatric Socket incorporates a versatile suspension system with options for Pin-lock, Passive Vacuum, and Elevated Vacuum. It features a standard pediatric 55mm (M5), 4-hole pattern adapter for compatibility with various components. Available in a range of colors including Black, White, Bumble Bee, and Flower Patterns, the socket offers a touch of personalization. With a maximum user weight capacity of 60kg and a built height of 23mm, it provides a robust and supportive solution.
Furthermore, the Pediatric Socket is designed for remolding up to five times, allowing it to adapt to the changing needs of a growing child and minimizing the need for frequent replacements. Suspension interchangeability is also available, allowing for easy transitions between Pin-lock and Passive/Elevated Vacuum systems as required.
The Pediatric Socket is intended for use with children and adolescents below 60kg, and is suitable for Transtibial amputation levels with TSB, PTB, and Hybrid weight bearing.

This collaborative effort aims to provide rapid and effective prosthetic solutions to individuals in Gaza, empowering them to regain their mobility and independence. Through the Restoring Hope initiative, Amparo has contributed prosthetic sockets and expertise, playing a crucial role in improving the lives of amputees in need.
