Amparo and Ortotek Drive Prosthetic Advancement in Türkiye

Amparo recently concluded another successful training session in Türkiye, reinforcing our commitment to empowering O&P professionals and advancing prosthetic care. This session, held in collaboration with our valued partners at Ortotek, was marked by enthusiastic participation, valuable knowledge exchange, and real-world application of Amparo’s technology.

The event drew an impressive 45 attendees, a mix of experienced Certified Prosthetist Orthotists (CPOs) and dedicated students. Their active engagement and eagerness to enhance their skills underscored the strong interest in improving prosthetic practices within the region. Amparo extends a sincere thank you to Ortotek for their exceptional support and unwavering commitment to advancing prosthetic care. Their collaboration was instrumental in creating a productive and highly engaging session for all participants.

A highlight of the training was the opportunity for hands-on experience at the Military Hospital. This setting provided an invaluable environment for real-time patient fittings, allowing participants to work directly with lower-limb amputees. This practical application allowed them to put Amparo’s techniques into action and experience the benefits of the Amparo Resilience Socket firsthand.

The Resilience Socket was a key focus of the training. This socket is designed to provide great comfort and reliability for amputees. It utilizes a one-way valve to create a snug fit without causing high-pressure areas and is typically used with a liner and sleeve. The training emphasized the socket’s features and how to maximize its benefits for patients.
