AOPA 2025: Hands-On Innovation with NuTech Synergies
Amparo Prosthetics made a strong showing at the AOPA National Assembly 2025 in Orlando, thanks to the incredible support and partnership of NuTech Synergies. With record-breaking attendance—the highest since the pandemic—the energy at AOPA this year was unmistakable, and we were proud to be part of it.
Our Amparo Socket Workshop brought together prosthetists for an interactive, hands-on session designed to showcase the Amparo Direct-Fit System in action. Attendees experienced the workflow behind our remoldable socket technology, learned key clinical tips, and walked away with a deeper understanding of how direct-fit solutions can reduce fitting time, improve outcomes, and simplify clinic operations.
At the AOPA Product Preview Theatre, we were thrilled to debut the Motio StepWatch5—the world’s most accurate activity monitor, with over 800 peer-reviewed publications validating its performance. This marked a major moment for Motio in the U.S., generating widespread interest and in-depth discussions about measuring patient outcomes with clinical-grade accuracy.
We also introduced a new feature: the Motio Comparison Report, which allows clinicians to track progress over time and visualize changes in activity levels and gait data. It’s another step forward in Amparo’s mission to deliver data-driven, patient-centered prosthetic care.
Throughout the event, our booth was constantly buzzing, thanks to our live socket fitting demonstrations featuring our direct-fit technology and two fantastic amputee models: Tony Mayes and Samona Jenkins. Their energy, professionalism, and openness made each demo a standout moment for clinicians from around the world.
From first-timers to long-time Amparo followers, attendees saw how our sockets—such as the Resilience Socket—can be directly fitted in a single session, without plaster or multiple visits, and how our system can adapt to a wide range of suspension techniques and limb shapes.
We want to give a special thanks to Mark Ford and the entire NuTech Synergies team. Their partnership and belief in our shared mission are instrumental in expanding Amparo’s presence and impact across the United States.
AOPA 2025 was more than just an event—it was a reflection of where the O&P industry is heading. More clinicians are seeking innovative, time-saving, and outcome-driven solutions, and we’re proud to be leading that conversation.
Thank you to everyone who visited our booth, participated in our workshops, or joined the Motio Product Preview Theatre. We’re already looking forward to what’s next.
