Amparo Prosthetics acquired Adapttech.

Amparo at AAOP 2025: A Resounding Success in Atlanta!

We recently wrapped up an incredible week at the American Academy of Orthotists and Prosthetists (AAOP) Annual Meeting in Atlanta, Georgia, and we’re still buzzing with excitement! AAOP 2025 brought together leading professionals in the orthotics and prosthetics (O&P) field, providing a fantastic platform for learning, networking, and showcasing the latest advancements in patient care.

Amparo was thrilled to be a part of this dynamic event, where we had the opportunity to connect with skillful Certified Prosthetist/Orthotists (CPOs) and demonstrate our innovative prosthetic solutions. We proudly showcased our Trust Socket, designed with reliable and durable construction to provide a comfortable fit for everyday use, and the Resilience Socket, crafted from ultra-lightweight, aerospace-grade aluminum with a distal end reinforced with Kevlar fibers for superior strength, designed for active individuals seeking high performance.

We experienced a fantastic turnout at our booth, with a high level of engagement from CPOs eager to learn more about our direct-fit technology. The feedback we received was overwhelmingly positive, and we were particularly delighted to see familiar faces from valued clients like Snell Prosthetics & Orthotics.

A major highlight of AAOP 2025 was the announcement of Amparo’s acquisition of Adapttech. This exciting development brings together two innovative companies committed to revolutionizing the O&P industry. We also demonstrated the Motio Functional Reports, which generates insightful reports to share with the rehabilitation team and for reimbursement purposes. Motio Stepwatch’s unique analytic systems acquire a patient’s real world, daily activity data during an at-home, 7-day monitoring period and then combines it with in-clinic patient outcome measure results to create a deeper understanding of each amputee’s mobility potential. The system generates activity reports that outline the amputee’s functional level with contextualized activity data.

In addition to showcasing our own products, we had the privilege of attending numerous insightful presentations driving the O&P field forward. It was inspiring to see the dedication and passion of professionals working to improve the lives of amputees.

We extend our sincere gratitude to our valued partners at NuTech Synergies. Their collaboration and support were instrumental to our success at AAOP 2025. We look forward to continuing our partnership and working together to advance prosthetic care.

Thank you, AAOP!
