Empowering Prosthetic Care in South Africa: Amparo’s Successful Training with XPROS

Amparo Prosthetics recently concluded an incredibly successful training initiative across South Africa, bringing our innovative direct-fit technology to prosthetic professionals in Johannesburg and Cape Town. Partnering with XPROS, these sessions were designed to empower Certified Prosthetist Orthotists (CPOs) with the skills to deliver high-quality, efficient, and comfortable prosthetic care.

Our team conducted comprehensive training in both cities alongside XPROS, focusing on hands-on application of the Amparo System, particularly with our revolutionary Resilience Socket. During these sessions, we completed three successful fittings in Johannesburg and two in Cape Town, showcasing the ease and effectiveness of our one-session fitting approach.

The energy in the room was truly palpable. CPOs from across South Africa, and even some from neighboring African countries, joined the training. Many CPOs had the invaluable opportunity to personally test the sockets, and the feedback from both patients and CPOs was overwhelmingly positive.
