WHX Dubai 2026 Recap: Weight-Bearing Fittings, Non-Stop Demos, and Powerful Partnerships

For the third time, Amparo Prosthetics returned to Dubai—this year for WHX Dubai 2026, the next evolution of the event formerly known as Arab Health. The atmosphere throughout the exhibition was incredible: packed halls, high-quality conversations, and a shared focus on advancing healthcare innovation across the region and beyond.

WHX Dubai continues to be one of the most important global platforms for healthcare professionals, manufacturers, distributors, and decision-makers. For Amparo, it has become a key annual moment to reconnect with partners, meet new collaborators, and showcase how our technology is transforming lower-limb prosthetic care.

Showcasing the Amparo System

At our booth, we presented the full Amparo System—our integrated direct-fit solution designed to deliver prosthetic sockets faster, more efficiently, and with improved patient comfort.

Throughout the week, one message stood out clearly:

Clinicians were particularly interested in how our system captures the residual limb under real load conditions, helping to achieve a stable, total surface bearing fit while simplifying clinical workflow.

Majicast: Hydrostatic Weight-Bearing Precision

A major highlight at WHX Dubai 2026 was the continued introduction of Majicast, our hydrostatic weight-bearing fitting system built specifically for Amparo’s sockets.

Majicast allows clinicians to:

• Shape the residual limb under full body weight
• Use uniform hydrostatic pressure for consistent soft tissue control
• Reduce variability in socket fabrication
• Deliver sockets in a streamlined workflow

Designed for mobility and efficiency, Majicast supports fittings both in established clinics and in outreach environments. The response in Dubai was overwhelmingly positive, with many visitors eager to see live demonstrations and understand how the system integrates into their existing practice.

Live Demos All Week

We spent the entire exhibition delivering live demonstrations at our booth. From morning until closing, clinicians gathered to see our sockets being fitted and to experience firsthand how direct-fit technology works in real time.

These conversations went beyond curiosity—many visitors engaged in detailed discussions about implementation, workflow integration, and how to expand access to prosthetic care in their regions.

Partnering with ABHI and the UK Healthcare Pavilion

Once again, we were proud to participate at WHX Dubai in partnership with ABHI and the UK Healthcare Pavilion. Over the years, this collaboration has created a strong synergy, helping UK healthcare innovators connect with global markets and amplify their impact.

This year, we also delivered a workshop on the ABHI stage, where we shared insights into direct-fit technology and weight-bearing socket fabrication. The session sparked meaningful dialogue and strong engagement from the audience.

Beyond the exhibition floor, we hosted a dedicated Amparo Socket Training workshop at the hotel. The room was filled with exceptional clinicians who brought not only curiosity, but a clear commitment to improving lower-limb mobility for their patients.

The training was highly interactive, with in-depth discussions about fitting techniques, patient outcomes, and how to integrate the Amparo System into different clinical settings. The level of engagement and technical questions reinforced why these hands-on sessions are so valuable.
